One of the best ways to see Uganda’s wildlife is to go on a safari. For a more traditional safari experience, consider visiting Murchison Falls, Kibale National Park, or Queen Elizabeth National Park. Among the many species of animals found in these areas are the world-famous tree-climbing lions. You may see a variety of birds, elephants, buffalo, and leopards on a wildlife drive and boat trip in the savannah. These parks offer a diverse range of habitats, from lush rainforests to vast grasslands, providing opportunities to spot different wildlife species. Additionally, local guides and experts can enhance your safari experience by sharing their knowledge about the animals’ behavior and habitat.

A 7-day Uganda adventure safari that includes visits to Murchison Falls, Uganda's largest game park, for thrilling game drives and Nile launch cruises; chimp trekking in the Kibale forest; and another game and birding experience in Queen Elizabeth National Park.
After breakfast, the driver will transport you to Kibale National Park. Kibale National Park features an evergreen forest with a broad range of landscapes, animals, and bird species. Kibale National Park is home to numerous chimpanzees and features a chimpanzee habitat center. You will drive via Lake Albert, where you will witness a lovely panorama of Lake Albert, before continuing on to Hoima for lunch. When you arrive at Kibale National Park, check into the lodge for supper and sleep.
You will have breakfast very early in the morning and then travel to the park's headquarters for a briefing on the regulations and requirements for doing chimp tracking. You will begin your pursuit in the forest, where you will encounter species such as bush pigs, elephants, and blue monkeys, to name a few. During the tracking process, bird species and the evergreen savannah vegetation of Kibale National Park will be seen. You will return to the resort for lunch and then go for nature hikes in the surrounding village. You'll have dinner and remain at the same resort.
After breakfast, our experienced driver will transport you to Queen Elizabeth National Park. We got opportunities to see climbing lions from the park, buffaloes, water bucks, and Uganda kobs on our trip to the park, to mention a few. You'll settle into the lodge, have lunch, and then go on an evening wildlife drive. Dinner and lodging are at the lodge.
Wake up, have breakfast, and go for a game drive. Early game drives are very exciting since the animals are still sunbathing and haven't gone hunting yet. The guide will assist you in seeing wildlife such as elephant herds, lions, and leopards, to mention a few, as well as several bird species. Return to the resort for lunch before embarking on a boat excursion to see hippos, crocodiles, and flamingos at the water's edge. Back to the lodge for supper and a night's rest.
Enjoy an African cup of coffee and start out toward Kampala. The driver will travel slowly for you to observe more animals while returning home. You will have lunch in Kampala, and then the driver will drop you off at the airport or hotel. Don't forget to share insights from your safari as the 7-day Uganda wildlife safari comes to an end.
