Arriving in Kigali, you will be welcomed by your expert Volcano Safaris guide, who will provide knowledge and assistance throughout your safari. Set off for Mount Gahinga Lodge or a similar option and cross the border into Uganda. Enjoy pre-dinner cocktails on the terrace with stunning views of the Virunga Volcanoes, or warm yourself inside by the cozy fire. Driving time is approximately 4 to 5 hours.
You embark on gorilla tracking after a leisurely breakfast. Trekking over the high, thickly wooded slopes and ultimately seeing the gorillas concealed in the jungle is an awe-inspiring and fortunate experience.
