Details

This safari will take you on a boat tour down the Nile River, where you will be able to see the magnificent Murchison Falls up close and personal. You will also get the opportunity to explore the huge savannah grasslands and see other classic African animals, including elephants, lions, and buffalos, in their natural environment. You can view the beautiful rhinos in the ziwa rhino sanctuary.

You will be picked up from your Kampala hotel early in the morning, after your breakfast. Following that, you will begin your drive to Murchison Falls, which will take around five hours of driving across stunning flat landscapes. You will stop along the way at the Ziiwa rhino reserve in the Nakasongola area. You will have a delightful experience while learning about one of the big five, then proceed to Murchison, stopping for lunch along the way and arriving in the evening for leisure, supper, and overnight camping.

Get up early, have breakfast, and then go on a game drive on the Northern Bank. View giraffes, elephants, Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, waterbucks, vervet monkeys, olive baboons, patas monkeys, Jackson's hartebeest, and lions, among many other animals. Return to the lodge for some downtime and lunch. In the afternoon, take a Nile launch cruise, which departs at 2 p.m. and allows you to see hippos, crocodiles, and river birds, including the kingfisher, the rare shoe bill stork, and cormorants. Following that, return to the lodge for leisure, supper, and sleep.

After an early breakfast, you will take the boat to the park's southern side and then to the top of most of the falls to see the water tumble beautifully down through the arrow valley. This amazing meeting will leave you speechless and with wonderful memories. After there, return to Kampala by the known river Kafu, with views of the river and a lunch meal en route.
