Serengeti Safari Tanzania

The Serengeti National Park is Africa’s most famous. Renowned for its incredible concentrations of predators and the Great Migration of two million grazers, a safari here is guaranteed to be exceptional. The endless grassy plains are among the richest grazing grounds in the African bush and are therefore home to the largest herds and the highest concentrations of predators on the planet. Visitors to Serengeti National Park can witness the thrilling spectacle of predators such as lions, cheetahs, and hyenas hunting their prey in this vast expanse. Additionally, the park’s diverse ecosystem supports a wide variety of other wildlife, including elephants, giraffes, and zebras, making it a paradise for nature enthusiasts.

Serengeti is derived from the Masai term siringitu, which means "endless plains." The grassland savannah reaches to the horizon in the south and is only broken by the so-called kopjes, which is why the Masai named this area. The weathering of granite outcrops creates these strange rock formations known as kopjes.

The plains are ideal hunting grounds for leopards and other big cats; with the open top of the car, you will have an excellent opportunity to see these majestic animals in their natural environment. The Seronera Valley in the center of Serengeti will be your destination for the day in the afternoon. You will spend the night camping in safari-style tents and eating a delicious supper in the midst of the African wilderness.

You will resume your wildlife drive across Serengeti National Park after breakfast. In the Seronera Valley, you'll observe hundreds of wildebeests and zebras, as well as lions and other big cats like leopards and cheetahs. After lunch at a picnic location, you will depart for the Ngorongoro Crater.

As soon as you approach the crater's edge, the caldera opens out before you, providing a breathtaking perspective of this magnificent natural marvel. You will camp on the crater's edge for the night and enjoy the spectacular view as the sun sets.

After an early morning meal, you will travel down into the crater. The Ngorongoro Crater is the world's biggest uninterrupted caldera, with incredible animal variety. With the exception of topis, Masai giraffes, and impalas, practically all species found in the East African savannah may be found on the grass steppe and in the acacia tree forests. Within a few hours, you may usually see the Big Five (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard). You will then be dropped off at the Karibu Heritage House Hotel or a similar option for your stay.

A driver will drop you to the airport. It can be Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) or Arusha Airport (ARK).
